Returning Life to Normal After Hurricane Irma

People and businesses throughout Satellite Beach are trying to return their lives to normal after the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma. Gasoline is available beachside, electric has been restored (although there are several traffic lights still not working around Desoto), yard cleanup and home repairs are underway. Food is starting to appear in the grocery stores and a majority of the businesses are open or trying to re-open.

Certainly a lot of stress and anxiety for the residents of Satellite Beach. Cleanup will take a while as will all of us moving past this hurricane, hopefully with some lessons learned, what to do better in the event of the next hurricane.

    God bless!
